Some properties just get away from you. It happens - life gets busy, a property sits unused for a stretch, and before long you've got waist-high weeds, dense brush crowding every open space, and a driveway path that barely looks like one anymore. That's exactly what we were dealing with here.
We brought in the Exmark Vertex 52" to handle it. This isn't a machine you'd use on a typical weekly mow - it's built for cutting through thick, overgrown growth that a standard mower would choke on. Dense stands of tall weeds, brush pushing in from the tree lines, overgrowth swallowing what used to be open lawn. The Vertex chews through all of it.
The before and after here tells the story pretty clearly. Ground that looked more like a field edge than a yard is now cut back, open, and accessible again. The area around the driveway path - buried under scrubby growth on both sides - is now cleared out. Same goes for the sections near the tree line where thick brush had completely taken over.
Not every job needs to be picture-perfect. Sometimes the goal is just getting a property under control - making it safe, usable, and no longer embarrassing. That's what a one-time cut is for. We do these regularly for properties that have fallen behind, and we can usually get it looking manageable in a single visit.
If your yard or land has gotten to this point, don't stress it. We've seen worse. The main thing is just getting someone out there with the right equipment to knock it down and get you back to a clean starting point.
